Considered popularly as part of Hindi belt, a major vote bank for national parties, has been the principal factor in making or breaking a party.
Its current state of affairs is that caste and religion based divisive politics is the only factor. There is absolutely no growth nor planning by any of the political parties that are leading this state.
Let us discuss the true nature of things in this heavily populated state, whose population is larger than a major country.Recent developments in UP should be carefully be observed by BJP and Congress. The sons of both the party presidents are from UP. Though the importance of Son of BJP president is only limited to UP but the old outdated stalwarts of BJP would not tolerate as they always dream for UP Chief Minister ship. Perhaps during their lifetime the dream may not come true but they will create hindrances and problems so that BJP may not come to power and in Parliamentary elections it may not get good number of seats. All parties are avoiding mid term polls as they know that in present day politics Mayavati may take away all the 85 seats from UP. Egoistic attitude of President of BJP may add fuel to fire.
