Renewing vB account

  • Hey,

    I have had vBulletin for the last year and am really happy with it, however I may not have the money to pay for renewal when it needs to be, am I able to close the forums while it is not licensed, or do I have to completely get rid of it?

  • If you have a "Leased" (the $85 one) license, the board would need to be shut down until you renew your license, otherwise it would need to be removed from your server completely if you don't plan to renew.

    If you have an "Owned" (the $160 one)license, you can keep your board open as long was you wish. You just can download new version until you renew your download access, which you can do at anytime.
