I am 21, 5 ft, and 120 lbs. I have always had quads but I really want a dirt bike. I have two friends who ride. One has a ttr125 and the other has an xr80. What bike would you suggest for me? Shifting is not a problem. I have drag raced since I was 12 so I'm ok with shifting gears. I just want something that will be fun and easy. I'm not looking to race it. Just something I can take out to the desert with my family and have fun! I would also like to put a pink body kit on it but it's ok if I can't find one to fit the bike you suggest...I will just paint it :) Thanks. Definitely a Honda CRF100F or CRF150F. Go to the dealer and sit on both to see what you are comfortable with. The TT-R125 would be a good choice also but I truly believe the CRF is a more solid bike with better resale value. At only 5 ft tall you are a bit restricted as to what bike would suit you. SInce you only want it was trail riding something like what your friend has in the ttr125 would suit. Other options would be the klx125 or the crf150f.At 5ft tall and quad exp. go with a 125cc. It's light and power to your weight, it fits nicely. If you find yourself needing more power in the desert sands as your skill increases(loose soil = poor grip), buy a big bore kit for it. Personally, I'm a Honda fan, but Yamaha makes nice 125cc
ok dude dont get any other dirtbike just get a crf150r if you think you wont like it, go down to you local honda dealer and check it out... they are a sweet bike.. good for begginers and vetran riders you can go fast or go slow pop wheelers or just keep it on 2 wheels.. get ahonda crf150r bro!!! get a honda!!! why? ride red!!!!you could get a pit bike. They are so much fun and suprisingly fast. You can easily make the whole thing pink for so cheap. Check out www.sdgusa.com ...adults race these things and kids can too. They are tons of fun and will beat that ttr125 and the xr80, despite being smaller, and the suspension is way better on them too#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
