I need help on my paper the quote is "They want to say that
the torment you suffer as a homosexual is due to cruelty of nature when it is really due to the cruelty of society". do u think its true? and whyIts a silly statement . Look how cruel nature is to strait people often times .I definitely believe it is true. The quote is saying that some people blame the "torment" (I think they are taking about torment caused by bigotry) is because of the evil nature of homosexuality - a 'you reap what you sow' type of thing. The quote then clarifies that the "torment" is not because of the nature of homosexuality is evil but rather caused by actions of members in society. They believe so much that homosexuality is wrong that they commit cruel acts against homosexuals.Homosexuals are treated different because what they do is considered unnatural and runs contrary to nature. Society is very accepting of gays at this time, but who knows how long it will last. Homosexuals have had to hide there desires for each other since it all began. People can be cruel and they always will be. Society as a whole is tolerating. For example i'm tolerating you right now!!!This seems to be merely another way to disguise the question...are you born gay or made gay by environment? I am not necessarily strong on the opinion of birth right, but I do believe in environment changing behavior. I site many years of watching my mother dealing with foster children most of my life (46 years). I've seen kids RUINED by the parents who are suppose to protect them. Society IS cruel and takes little responsibility for those it creates. Just my thoughts.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
