More Confed Cup thoughts

  • - New Zeiland : Its a dam shame that FIFA is giving away 1 spot in the WC to basicly either New Zeiland or Australia. NZ is pathetic, talentless. Ive seen them play 3 times now in 2 weeks and they have shown me NOTHING. FIFA never should have given them that WC birth especially at the cost of South America.

    - Japan: Wow. The Japanese should be proud. They have come a LONG way in soccer and played great fun soccer against France even though they lost. They have put many teams to shame so far. I think they will beat Colombia and move into the Semi's.

    - France: Yawn.

    - US x Brazil match: ALEX will play, hes extremeley hot in the Brazilian league right now. Scored a great goal last week in the Copa Brazil final. My heart is split 50-50, I love both teams equally.

  • Brazil wasnt much fun to watch against Cameroon.

    Inter's DIEGO is far from the Selecao at this point. As a matter of fact while Robinho would be fun, I think he has done very little of late for Santos while Santos's Diego is really THE player to watch.

  • I guess i sort of understand how you feel. I am a Brazilian born naturalized U.S citizen, however, while being very sympathetic of the USMNT and being pleased when they win, I still can't root for them over Brazil in soccer. Just can't,never will. FIrst off, it would mean being ostracised from my family and well, Brazil is so dang fun to watch. I'm kinda partial to the Dutch too!!!!

    I would like to see Adriano really prove his quality in the following game.And what is Ricardinho doing out there? I felt he played like crap. Now i really wish CAP had brought Diego and Robinho, to put some life into this team. BTW, what are the chances of Diego from Inter cracking into the National Team in the near future?
