Concerts like the original Woodstock '69?

  • All I have heard of is Hippiefest. Does anyone know music and theme-wise of concerts like Woodstock? The original one. Not ones like '94 and '99.


  • Well, the theme of the original Woodstock was a lot of things, and you can probably find stuff in the original spirit in various ways, but not all together in one place as one package.

    I'd say a modern "hippie" gathering with music stages would capture a lot of the spirit of Woodstock -- people working towards a peaceful world, a decent amount of drug-friendliness, environmental consciousness, etc...
