I like to put shirts and sweaters on him, especially in the morning and afternoon when it is cooler. Does anyone else out there buy clothes for there pets?I have a 4 lb chihuahua. I don't buy any clothes for him. He just has a simple coat to keep him warm in the winter.yea, i do.yes young lady there are people who dress up their dogs and cats;;i have a daughter who has a pug she dresses up her dog all the time;she has a rain suit and halloween coustume and all kinds of outfits for him,her dogs name is OTIS ; oh by the way my daughter is married with 3 grown childern ,and she is 51 years old; otis also has a santa suit for christmas ;a lepracon outfit for st,patties day,and so on....i hope this answers your question........BILL K.Dogs that weigh under two lbs. can not thermoregulate. In other words they can't bring up their temperature to acceptable warmth. So, yes, he needs something to keep him warm to keep him comfortable when going out on cool mornings.
Lots of people put sweaters on their dogs for warmth.
BTW that's a really small baby Yorkie, I'll bet he is a cutie.ewww gross. thats how much golden retriever puppies weigh at 1 week!I only buy my two winter coats. My new girl was from Louisiana and she has a short coat, and the cold weather's starting to bother my Shiba Inu (she's an older dog). #If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
