Does mousse make your hair stay straight?

If I were to apply mousse while my hair was still wet, then when it dried I straightened it, would it stay straight?

If not, what could keep my hair straight? It's keeps it from frizzing, yeah that would work too

I actually tried that but after i applied the mousse in my hair, and then straightened each strand of hair...(i have thick hair) it looked horrible. it basically looked all greassy and oily. like i havent washed my hair in ages! lol. never that again

i'm belle and i work part time as a hair dresser so you happen to be asking the right person. No it wouldnt stay straight if u put it in after you washed it. It would help style it but not keep it straight. Try hair fudge or garnier fructis hair gel! good luck just reply if you need more help!
