When i was yonger i had reallly nice streight hair but in the first grade or so my mom decided to shave it :/ ever since then my hairs been groing out all thick almost as if i was growing an afro :D lol but anyway any ideas on why this could be?Well darlin, if you're around 12-15 years old. You're probably going through puberty.The change in the texture had nothing to do with the shaving. Think about it...How can cutting the hair above the skin have any effect on how the hair is formed under the skin? I would blame genetics. Probably your mom cut off the last of your baby hair which left the more mature hair.
