htaccess mod_rewrite help

  • I'm still a newbie at htaccess so forgive me if I sound like a nob :p , but how can I modify this to be able to use it in my "Attachments as files" folder, here's an example of a filename in there 00022e801b2921ae97d953b1525ec188.file

    If I am way off base with thinking this can be done...pls let me know, and if I am, does anyone have any other suggestions? :)
