Hi,
I am using a software product called MapPoint.
The program allows me to enter data from just about any source (excel,
comma delimited, etc).
My church in Miami FL has asked me to get demographic data about the following:
Census
Schools
Nursing Homes
Day Care
By Age
CDC
Parks
Local businesses
Government offices
Ethic background
Churches
Cost is a consideration.

where you'll find a lot of census data bases for Miami. I'm not sure
which ones would be suit your needs, but spend some time exploring
around here, and let me know if this is the sort of thing you're
after.
By the way, take note of the categories { Housing, Business, etc ] on
the left hand side of the page. Clicking on any of these will bring
up still more datasets.
