i already know the revolucionary op 10 n12 of chopin and the Moszkowski Etude op.72 n2, I need another pleaseThere are probably some good Hannon or Czerny exercises out there (actually Hannon probably has more--I remember my teacher saying Czerny didn't write enough for the left hand). There is also a Chopin prelude in G major (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UomEzjC5E... which I've played that is a very good left hand workoutBrahms wrote some, ditto Scriabin.
There's the Ravel Concerto for LH.
Surely there's an information page on this somewhere on the Internet!
Many were commissioned by Paul Wittgenstein in the first part of the 20th c.I seem to remember Hannon's Virtuoso Pianist had a lot of left hand exercises. I don't remember much from studying it other than the fact that I hated it, which is a good thing. Because that means that it was probably very challenging and it was helping me a ton.Solfeggietto by CPE Bach. There is an arrangement for LH solo.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
