What is the virtuoso speed of the Black Key Etude by Chopin?Sounds like a detective novel !listen to something by jazz or classic you nerdBased on a Maurizio Pollini recording, I would say around 116 beats per minute for a quarter note.
Of course, you don't have to play it that fast; go with what you feel comfortable with.Very fast indeed. Why not buy a few professional recordings and listen to it played by some real virtuosi? No such thing. But for a fantastic version by IMO the finest player of the Chopin etudes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0V1rr-t4...its pretty fast...but i wouldn't say that there is an exact virtuoso speed for it cause if it were like that music wouldn't be enjoyable!#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
