What was the name of the rich hippy that gave away all of inherited
money in the late sixtiesl. It was in all of the papers at the time I
thin his name started with B. I believe he wss eventually
hospitalized.Note to researchers:
The hippie whom zackdogdog is seeking is NOT Michael Butler, the
"hippie millionaire" to whom I was referring in the request for
clarification above.I've located references to a wealthy man whom the press dubbed "the
hippie millionaire" in the late '60s. He financed a famous "hippie"
theater production, but I can find no evidence that he gave away his
fortune.
His last name does start with "B," though.
