My husband & I want to meet my 88 year old father in Laughlin, or Las
Vegas NV. We live in Moncks Corner, SC and can fly from Charleston or
Myrtle Beach. Dad lives in Comox,B.C., Canada. We want to be at our
destination one day prior to and one day after my dad arrives. We
want to fly to Vegas or Laughlin on Feb 9 or 10 and for Dad to arrive
Feb 10 or 11. We will rent a car and drive to Laughlin. Dad will
need to fly back on Sun Feb 15 while we fly on Mon Feb 17. Dad will
have to fly from Vancouver direct to Laughlin or Vegas where we will
pick him up. Our flights do not have to be directfrom SC. Our
ultimate destination is Laughlin, but I cannot find a Canadian company
that flies directly to Laughlin from Vancouver, so we have settled on
flying to Vegas. Though Dad lives in Comox it is possible to arrange
for a family member to take him to Vancouver to get on the flight.
The return from Vegas or Laughlin would need to include a flight from
Vancouver to Comox. so the return flight would have to be during the
day time on Sun Feb 15, not 2 in the morning. A family member who
lives in Vancouver could go to the airport and assist him in boarding
his flight from Van to Comox. And of course the cost cannot be
astronomical or we cannot pull this off. To summarize and clarify:
Elderly Client A travels to Vancouver and flies non-stop on Feb 10 or
11 to Laughlin or Vegas. He returns on an afternoon flight on Sun Feb
15. and needs a further flight to Comox.
Senior clients (ages 67 and 59) live in Moncks Corner, SC and can fly
from Myrtle Beach, Columbia or Charleston. They want to arrive at
Vegas or Laughlin a day prior to Client A and stay one day longer than
Client A. Neither party is rich but believe that the right travel
agent with the knowledge of this area could put this together in a
short amount of time. We would like our alternatives outlined. We do
not want a package as we want to stay at Harrah's in Laughlin, but we
will be renting a car for the whole period of time. A tip for sending
all the info we need and other alternatives for us to consider.
