I mean you guys claim to be a community of one right? Or do you guys just show your support behind a computer screen?Because atheists generally don't group based on religious preferences. If they open a business, they do it for MONEY.Sweetie you have "LA" under your name, you're making us Californians look stupid.
Just stop okay? There is no Atheist community, and if there was, we wouldn't just cater to ourselves, we could cater to everyone.Like what sort of business?
We're not prejudiced like some people.I am more so an individualist. I don't mind working on committees that involves my school. But I am still thinking about the issue of joining any possible rising atheist community. I believe there is one organization called American Atheists. There is no "atheist community". Atheism- not believing in a god
So is there a community of people who don't believe in unicorns?
EDIT- why do you consider someone trying to correct your misinformation as "hate mail"?How come they don't have Businesses that cater to people that don't believe in Santa?
Think about it.Because, unlike Christians, we're not so stupid as to limit our business to only one demographic.Huh?
Hey, how come people who don't believe in Unicorns don't just unite and share a common goal because of their lack of belief in unicorns...?
Atheists aren't members of an atheist community for the same reason that Christians aren't members of an a-Zeus community. Get it? The only thing an atheist has in common with another atheist is the lack of belief in god(s). You can be an atheist and believe that the universe was created by super intelligent alien rabbits and still be no less the atheist.I'm an individual, not a member of some cult. I'm not even sure how in the world a business would cater to an atheist. I'm satisfied with most the business I conduct and don't find anything lacking.Brilliant idea! I'm going to open up an Atheist restaurant! Full of traditional Atheist foods only enjoyed by Atheists! And an Atheist tax firm, devoted to helping Atheist with their special Atheist tax issues!
Really, what kind of business do you think would strictly be of interest to atheists?
Do you put any thought into these questions at all?there is no atheist communityWe don't claim to be a community of anything. You made that up. I have owned several businesses and trying to identify someones religion never occurred to me. Only a believer would do something such as that.I have never read or heard of Atheists claiming they are a community of one. They tend to embrace people of all systems of thought so why would they create an exclusive community?
Please do what's best for all of us and quit picking on lovely peaceful people.when you see a group of people laughing and looking at you, its we atheists finding humor in your 'logic' and delusion.Becasue atheism is not exclusionary or bigoted...I've never heard anyone claim that.
Atheists don't have special needs or wants; they have no need of an "atheist book store" or money-making schemes like that.Atheism doesn't really have a church or commune for it's people who believe as such. It's different from religion in that the word 'Atheist' is more of an adjective than a secular denomination. We are not a group or a religion. Atheist is a title used to say we don't believe in god(s). Nothing more.Who claims this community of one? Yeah i know of a few dozen different "atheist" groups. But not one of em says every atheist is the same.I'm afraid we love everyone. And WE mean it.There is no atheist community, we are just people who don't believe in God.behind a computer screen. they are not this verbose in real life. they come here to vent.because that would be a bad business decision. think about it, atheists make up maybe 9-10% of the market (I'm just guessing, i don't know the exact demographic information)
why would anyone want to market products only to atheists when they could potentially get a much broader market penetration.
that being said, there are companies that market mainly to atheists. i can think of one off the top of my head, camp quest. it's a summer camp for children of atheist parents. We don't claim to be a community. There's nothing that unites atheists except disbelief in God. We are of all races and nationalities. We don't live in atheist areas, we don't have atheist cuisine, we don't go to atheist meetings, why should be have atheist businesses? And what could they possibly sell? And what businesses exactly are the ones that 'cater to the atheist community'? There is no atheist community. We don't hold secret meetings, or dance around an empty table chanting slogans, there are no strictly atheist products that are forbidden to be used by the religious. Your question is bizarre and lacks any common sense.been here too long to know. most are hypocrites and closet christians. i love their hate mail. keep your head up! Report Abuse
Are you just trying to make Christians look dumb? You are doing a terrific job.
There is NO atheist community, sir. Unless you call MENSA a community. heheheheheThey do do that in Communist communities. What a moronic question. There is no Atheist community. Its not like we have a church to go to. What is the difference between an Atheists and Christians spending habits anyways.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
