Linking Slide Shows
March 16th, 2010Eat and be well
Let me sing a song of thank you.
You Girl Scouts sho' do know your stuff!
I'll try your sugestions and do my thing,
Till my audiences yell enough, enough!
I'm really appreciative.
Eat (outdoors) and be well!
To create the menu:
Create a single slide presentation that looks like the other presentations. Make the single slide a content slide. Give it a title such as "What would you like to see?". Make the bullets the titles of each of the other presentations. Then, select each bullet (or its text) in turn and turn it into a hyperlink to the correct presentation.
To create the imbeded presentation:
Create a single slide presentation that looks like the other presentations. Make the single slide a title only slide. Give it a title such as "What would you like to see?". On the Insert-> Object menu, select teh from file radio button, then navigate to your presentation. Insert each of the other presentations into the first slide. Each inserted presentation will show as a thumbnail (re-sizeable) of the first slide of that presentation.
To merely link end to end:
At the end of each presentation, create a button that links to the next presentation. While this appears the simplest way to do things, it is actually the worst (I only include it for completeness). If you use this method, you will have all presentations open at the end of the last one.
Hope this helps!
