PowerPoint Chart

  • How do I rotate a pie chart in PowerPoint?

  • That's what I figured and did. I flattened the chart out to get it as close to 2D as possible.

  • Try this: double-click on 2D pie chart. Click on options tab. Change "angle of first slice" accordingly.

  • Cool workaround! Love it!

  • Welcome to the forum!
To rotate your pie chart in PowerPoint 2002 or later:

YOur chart must be a 3-d chart. Once it is a 3-d chart, right click on the chart and select 3-d View. (If you don't see that option on the right click menu, make sure you have clicked on the white area outside the chart picture - in other words that you are formatting the chart, not one of the data series.) Once you are in 3-d view, you can change the viewing angle with the up and down arrows on the left of the window or the rotation with the circular arrows underneath the chart picture.

If you are using an earlier version, post back and I will provide them.

    Hope this helps!
