I just came across someone asking "What does it mean when someone says 'It aint trickin' if you got it'?"
Then as a sidenote, wrote: [in response to the smart-assed answers]: please don't be mad because im much too educated to understand such ignorance...k?...k!
MY question is: What does being SO educated have to do with understanding the lyrics to such an 'ignorant' song/artist?
I already have my own answer but wanted to hear what others have to say...I totally agree with you.I don't speak like that though. So,I don't understand when rappers stay stuff like that.Well, you're clearly educated since this question is so perfectly worded (sarcasm). However, I question the intellectual capacity of an individual who dissects lyrics that are blatantly ignorant to raise a rhetoric 'question' about the relationship between hip-hop and education. A true intellect (such as myself) is able to discern that hip-hop is very broad -- There are lyrics with much more complexity than what you chose to showcase (condescend). This is expected from pretentious assholes with a vendetta against hip-hop. If you want us to believe that you're educated based on your biased premise, I would suggest that you challenge yourself (and us) by arguing against the elite rather than the worst possible hip-hop lyrics you could find. That's too easy, and your argument is null because of it.
It's like me saying, "Why are basketball players considered so talented? My neighbors 8 year old daughter easily makes shots, and she's terrible".
Edit: Ahh...I see. Then I concur.yea i agree wit u#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
