can some one please help me on this.... i maybe a little thick but my friend is worried sick . we both work in a Post Office and shes admitted stealing cash from there to work colleagues. She was suspended for a week on full pay shes currently 32 weeks pregnant too and now got depression. what is an investigations interview and surely they cant make her go if shes got severe depression whan this far pregnant?! not sure if they have evidence shes not said much about it... thankyou If your doctor says you are to ill to attend, so be it. In that case, they'll probably come round to you at home.I'm sorry to tell you this, but the Federal Government does not care if she's depressed and pregnant. All that they know if she was stealing. That is a Federal offense from the Post Office. She will be fortunate if all she gets is fired. I don't want to make you more concerned, but you need to know the facts. Possible jail and fines may be in her near future. As a friend, you should tell her to get in contact with an attorney ASAP. I hope she learns her lesson from this so she can teach her little one what not to do.
Attorney first!She doesn't need to go to the police, they will visit her. They will also bring the investigation to her.
She is going to be fired and charged so I'd be depressed also.
I'm sure they have video of her stealing. It will be viewed. I can't believe that in this day and age people don't realize there are cameras every where. if she is operating a register there is a camera directly above it.
