» How hard is it to get the loan? Does it go by your credit?
Yes, it goes by your credit score / reports. If you have no credit or bad credit, it will be more difficult to get a good loan, or any loan. If you do not have good credit, you can probably still get a loan, but the terms and interest will be horrendous.Depends on what you are trying to buy, for example if you are buying a house, the house must appraise enough. But loans can be tough to get these days. Definitely depends on your credit. Can depend on what you have for a down payment, and what other debts you have. What is the loan for? Is it to buy something tangible, like a house or a car? The lender could place a lien or mortgage on the car or house, and thus be assured that they will not lose everything if you disappear. » 2002 WRX - Will American body parts fit on a Japanese version of this year ?
Someone ran into the back of me, I have a japanese model ... the dealership of course has us parts. Will I be able to use a us bumper/trunk/brakelight ? or do I have to order them from Japan?Japan is typically a year ahead on body type changes. So you have the same body style. If you had the 2001 JDM model, you would need 2002 parts from the US model. Tail lights and badging will be slightly different, but the USDM ones will work fine. Just make sure you replace both or it will look funny. :) Bumper beam might be different, too, but the USDM parts will bolt right in.They are identical on the outside....... - 2009-07-03

» SLRs with Shutter Dials? ... for a beginner...
Hey all! I'm new to the community and from the looks of it, this seems like a good place to be :) I was very very curious if I could get some help with a purchase in the next few weeks... I took a couple graphic arts/photography classes in high school, and loved every minute of them. I've wanted to pursue photography as a hobby, but have never had a decent SLR ( the one I have is nearly 25 years old and does not allow manual adjusting of shutter speed :- ), so I was never really able to try things out. What I'm really asking about... is possibly a good camera for a beginner, that I can adjust the shutter speed... aperture and all that jazz. The one I used in my classes had a dedicated dial for the shutter speed -- which I really lov...... - 2009-07-03

I have a document template set up that has over 100+ customized autotext entries. Can someone post code to help me accomplish the following? I want to be able to do a search and replace on all autotext entries. Here is an example: Autotext1: "Welcome" ~ text = "Thank you for your business" Autotext2: "Bye" ~ text = "Should you have any questions" Search for "you" and replace it with "you and your associates" Thank you in advance for your help. GregI realize there isn't a truly clean way to do this... so this is what I've come up with. Step 1: VB-Load the autotext into a word doc and save it to temp directory. Step 2: Open the documents and do my manual changes Step 3: VB-Delete old autotext from Normal.dot and r...... - 2009-07-03

Well a few days ago I was searching about that and I found that scientist are moving the day up to about like 2080 maybe even higher than that. » Is my brother spending to much time with his girlfriend? Or am i just jealous?
My brother and I are extremely close. He tells me everything and i always have his back whenever we have family arguments. About three months ago, he got a girlfriend. I was very happy for him! I even became really good friends with her. However, i feel like she is starting to come before the family. Our family used to be very close knitted and loved to spend time together. However, every single day, he picks her up from school and hangs out at her house until 9 pm. I'm starting to feel like im losing him and that my family is falling apart. He doesn't seem to want to spend time with the family anymore and his girlfriend is starting to have a attitude and being overly clingy. » QTB 7500-A Not so dedicated flash . . .
I have a Quantaray QTB 7500-A flash that my wife bought for me about two years ago. Either I don't understand it or it is not working properly. The camera only ever seems to know that the flash is present and turned on but has no control over it other than firing it. I have had to resort to figuring all flash exposures with this unit manually. None of the program modes work correctly and since I do not have the GN# for it even manual is quite the experiment. Also the range/aperature chart seems to be quite misleading. Why does the TTL not function? I have tried it on my film Rebel 2000 as well as my EOS 10D same results. What am I missing here? Am I an idiot or will this flash only ever work in manual modes? http://aurigenmedia.com/flash...... - 2009-07-03
» Atheists: Has your experience on R&S bettered or worsened your opinion of atheists in general?
Spin off of the question asked a minute ago, I'm curious what atheists think of the other atheists on here. Do you think they make us look better or worse? They make me want to piss myself laughing. They are usually well adjusted, educated and like a good laugh, I hope some are my friends also. Sometimes I think about some of their questions when I am at work and I actually do let out a snort of laughter.Hey that was my question :-) I think my experience here on R&S has generally bettered my opinion of my fellow atheists. I did not have a negative opinion of atheists prior to coming here - I actually did not know any. » recovering photos from a formated card
I was recently hit by a car while riding my bike from a photo shoot location that is not accessible by car. I ended up in the hospital, but my camera was just fine. I took pictures of the scene. Unfortunately I neglected to upload them to my computer. A few days later I formatted my card not realizing that I hadn’t put the pics on my computer yet. Is there any way I can recover the files? I know there are programs available but will they work on a formatted card? If so, what programs do you recommend?Check the card manufacturer's web site. Most of them have some sort of recovery software. I'm not sure if it makes a difference whether you 'delete' the images or 'format' the card. » Is Oblivion a good game?
What would you guys rate this game?I would rate it 9.8/10. The graphics are good (for a console launch game), The dialogue is awesome, the storyline is incredibly deep and there are hours and hours and hours of things to do. My only problem is that the game becomes a little stale after you beat everything, but it take many many days to accomplish EVERYTHING this game has to offer. Oblivion is a very solid game, and well worth your money. It's a great game, just make sure you get it for 360 and not PC. My PC has 2gigs RAM and I can't even run it properly on medium quality. If you want the true effect I strongly suggest it for XBOX360. (It's a H/S RPG FPS/3P action adventure game. A much better version of Fable essentially.)...... - 2009-07-03

» How does Science define Gravity?
Please, try to answer in a way that the general public would understand. That really is a huge question, especially to try to explain it in layman's terms, but here it goes. Newton described gravity as force at a distance. He used gravity as the downward (toward the center of the earth) force. He defined gravity in this way (gravity on earth is 9.8 m/s^2) but never really explained WHAT gravity was. His equations worked so well that we still use them today to describe many motion type problems. The problem with what Newton said is that gravity acts INSTANTANEOUSLY on objects. Einstein came along later and said that nothing can move faster than light. To answer this new problem Einstein came up with his General Theory of Relativity. ...... - 2009-07-03

Hey, I have had vBulletin for the last year and am really happy with it, however I may not have the money to pay for renewal when it needs to be, am I able to close the forums while it is not licensed, or do I have to completely get rid of it? Cheers, Dan.If you have a "Leased" (the $85 one) license, the board would need to be shut down until you renew your license, otherwise it would need to be removed from your server completely if you don't plan to renew. If you have an "Owned" (the $160 one)license, you can keep your board open as long was you wish. You just can download new version until you renew your download access, which you can do at anytime.OK cheers...... - 2009-07-03

Good day everyone, I have had experiences and heard much talk about really INCREDIBLE sounding bargains and deals with equipment, especially the new HD camcorders. » â God gave Israel to the Jew;â this was written on a sign in Israel but why was it in English?
The news lately has shown images from a disputed part of Israel. Jewish settlers are being forced to leave a large communal style house and to hand it over to Palestinians. The Israeli army was being pelted with rocks from Jews instead of Palestinians for a change. And then I notice this sign hanging from off the side of this house; â God gave Israel to the Jew.â Now, Palestinians speak and write in Arabic so the sign wasnâ t written for their benefit and even though many Jews do speak and write English, I believe Hebrew is their own preferred language in which to communicate so the sign wasnâ t written to be read by other Jews. » What are somethings they don't have in Vietnam?
Like I want to send gift to my cousins who live in Vietnam. But I want it to be something they never seen for heard of before. So what don't they have there? (They live in the higher economy part of Vietnam.)My cousins in Vietnam are extreme upperclass there. To be honest as the extreme upperclass in Vietnam they have access to almost everything because it tends to be very elitist. If you're on the good side of the government you get anything you want, if not then you have to make your own way. (which is weird because it's a communist country) I know my cousins have iphones and the prada phone and very nice laptops. Think about what you would think would be good to receive. If they're upperclass they're probably...... - 2009-07-03

» After 50mm 1.4, what do you recommend?
i mainly want to shoot people and do portrait stuff. The thing i didnt like about the 50mm is that the angle was often just too small, just like the rooms i was in..what do you recommend? Stick with the normal/wideangle lenses or get something with zoom or else? Not really sure what to suggest in this case... for portrait work I would normally recommend a telephoto lens longer than 50mm. But if you find the angle of view on a 50mm to be too narrow already, then obviously a longer lens is not going to be any better. A zoom that includes wide-angle focal lengths (something like the 18-55mm you already have) would help with your problem of shooting in small rooms. Wide-angles do not normally make very flattering portrait lenses though.Like ...... - 2009-07-03
» Updated OS (with SELinux active) doesn't like symbolic links
Updated OS (with SELinux active) doesn't like ln (symbolic links), probably due to the SELinux. I like to keep my database on a separate drive and with SELinux active (which I think is the issue), it doesn't seem to like anything LN'd on a separate drive (database or flat files). Would changing the location of the database files (in my.cnf) to go to the 2nd drive or will I still have an issue? It's all due to SELinux ... seems the 2nd drive isn't scanned to run via "SELinux", so no programs will run/view anything on the 2nd drive.SELinux isn't ready for prime time yet I suggest recompiling the kernel or deactiving it :p...... - 2009-07-03
» Can two best friends have the same dream?
The other day i woke having a terrible dream. I had a dream that my best friend had sex with my ex girlfriend, who i still have feelings for, after both of them told me what happened i started to beat the living **** out of my best friend. It was really weird cause i called him the next day and he said that he had a similar dream the only difference with his is that i was mad at my ex and had sex with her cousin. So i understand that there is a possibility that these type of circumstances can happen, but the way this one is seems very odd. Hi I'm new so wasn't too sure where to post this. My Canon 40D was accidentally knocked off a table a few days ago (stupid accident; it was attached to my laptop and someone grabbed the laptop) and it fell hard enough for my lens cap to go flying. I took a few test shots afterwards and everything seems fine but I'm not sure if it has damage anything internally (like the sensor). I have never dropped it before. There is no obvious signs of trama but I'm not sure what other problems I should look for. Thank god I have a full 4 year warranty on this baby.Hi I'm new so wasn't too sure where to post this. » What is the Nepalese meaning for the word Yeti?
I need to know the meaning of the word in English for the name Yeti. Yeti is derived from the Tibetan Sherpa language. I have found two different meanings: - According to Wikipedia and Monstropedia, yeh-ti, is a compound of the words yeh, meaning "rocky" or "rocky place", and pe-tah, which translates as "bear", the full name being "rock bear". - According to the Online Etymology Dictionary, the Sherpa (Tibetan) word yeh-teh means: "small manlike animal." In Nepalese, the creature is called "Bonmanche" which means "wild man" or "Kangchenjunga rachyyas" which means "Kanchanjunga's demon." Don't know if your American tone pads are the same than the British keys though. It's free cos you have to dial the tones yourself from the website, but they do have a number of football and Arsenal ring tones. The 70mm seems to be very often a bit short when trying to capture my son on the beach or playground. Can not really shoot a "candid" photo. We would like to have a little bit of flash and a great design is a must. The music is rock/emo/indie based so the art is very important to us. If your are interested please e-mail us at: Jeff@theworkshoprecordinggroup.com with some examples of your work. Oh yeah and yes we are going to change that really long URL lol... » Mitsubishi ZERO again
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd plans to launch two types of jets, known as the Mitsubishi Regional Jet, in 2013 — the 70- to 80-seat MRJ70 and the 86- to 96-seat MRJ90 — with a flight range of 1,630 km to 3,630 km. Reportedly the biggest advantage of the MRJ is its fuel-efficiency. Thanks to its energy-saving turbofan engine, designed by U.S.-based Pratt & Whitney, and the use of lightweight carbon fiber composite materials, the MRJ will be about 40 percent more efficient than the Boeing 737. http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/nb20080508a1.html http://www.japantimes.co.jp/images/photos2008/nb20080508a1a.jpg Mitsubishi Regional Jet Speaking of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries's airplane, I remember "ZERO", which was ...... - 2009-07-03
» When to change transmission fluid and filter-2006 Honda Accord?
I just bought a used 2006 Honda Accord Ex Coupe l4 with Auto. Trans. It has 40500 miles on it. The Owner's Manual says to change the automatic transmission fluid initially at 60,000 miles for severe use, and every 30,000 thereafter. I don't drive that way, mostly just short trips to the local store and back, so when should the tranny fluid be changed under normal use? Also, is there a tranny fluid filter to be changed at the same time? How many miles between engine oil and filter changes are recommended? This is my first Honda. I used to be a GM car buyer. » C- Compiler using Object-Oriented Design Paterns
I'm in a Computer Science class that is constructing a "C-" compiler, which is a small subset of the C language that does not have structs, pointers, etc. It's pretty simple, with a grammar of 30 rules or so. I'm looking for resources that will help me implement Design Patterns and Object-Oriented concepts for this. (I'm writing the compiler in Java, although C# is also acceptable, I believe) The textbook I'm using has numerous examples in C, so it's a bit antiquated in some ways, because I prefer an OO approach to programming. I'm pretty much on my own besides that, the class teaches functionality, not implementation. I have the "Design Patterns" book by the "Gang of Four", and it's a good sta...... - 2009-07-03
» Air leaks in Tappan furnace.
The other day a friend of mine asked if I knew how much it would cost to have his ductwork cleaned. He said he and his wife were having serious allergy problems whenever they were at home. When I went over to look at the situation, I discovered that they had NEVER changed the filter! They have lived their about 3.5 years I believe. I got him an alergenic 3M filter to replace the old one. When I pulled out the old filter, I happened to take notice that the furnace was raised up on bricks at each corner. This raised the furnace 2.5" off the concrete floor. I believe the purpous was to raise the furnace to the hight of the reurn duct. The unit appears to have a 2.5" high unfiltered air leak around the entire open bottom o...... - 2009-07-03

Hello, I have a Nikkor 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 AF lens. This lens has been in my family and I am barrowing it. The thing is that this is a macro lens too. I used this lens about 10 years ago while in photography class. I remember taking close-up pictures of my watch. I remember there was something that I had to turn or something like that on the end of the lens to get it to take macro photos. The person who I barrowed it from is kind of like me and thinks you have to turn the end or something. I called Nikon and they looked up the lens, but even though he was very nice he did not really help me. He did say it was a macro lens, but again he didn't really help.

GregI realize there isn't a truly clean way to do this... so this is what I've come up with. Step 1: VB-Load the autotext into a word doc and save it to temp directory.

Cheers, Dan.If you have a "Leased" (the $85 one) license, the board would need to be shut down until you renew your license, otherwise it would need to be removed from your server completely if you don't plan to renew.
The other thing is that I believe Jews donâ t like writing â God;â they write â G_dâ out of some supe...... - 2009-07-03

Question: Why does this happen? and What does this mean?Where strong emotions come to play it can happen ....... - 2009-07-03

If you are using Internet Explorer in any Windows operating system, then indeed the method described by my colleague funkywizard-ga in the comments below should help. More specifically: 1. Close all open browser windows (including this one, after you write down these instructions!) 2. Open a new browser window. 3. Stretch out the new window to the size you want by using your mouse to click on, and drag, the borders. 4.

Here is a link to Diclofencac information: http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/diclofen_ad.htm Of particular interest is the fact that Diclofenac increases Platlet aggregation and can cause statistically signifigant changes in prothrombin and and partial thromboplastin times.
